Recently, several viewers have contacted me to ask if I had a Patreon, and to tell you the truth, it’s something I’ve been hesitant to do. I don’t want to give the impression that I am begging for money. I’ve put a fair amount of money over the years into making videos about games, and I’ve done it out of my own pocket because I love doing it.

But since having so many requests, I’ve been trying to think of a way to make a totally honest and transparent Patreon that doesn’t penalise non-Patrons, but gives people who want to contribute financially to Pug Hoof Gaming, an incentive to do so.

I make gaming videos using original hardware and I want to continue to do that in bigger and better ways. So, this Patreon will be primarily focused on raising funds to purchase new and exciting things to make videos about – And it’s Patrons that are going to help me decide what to do with the money.

You can chose to donate as little or as much as you’d like to my Patreon tip jar. In return, you’ll be credited in every video I make, and you’ll also have access to videos as soon as they are available. All the money raised from Patreon will be put in a pot, so to speak, and when enough money has been raised I will pitch several video ideas to Patrons, that require the purchase of gaming hardware or software. They’ll get to vote on what I buy, essentially steering the direction of future videos. I’ll also use some of the funds to look at upgrading the equipment I use to create my videos, to make them even better.

But what about if you can’t afford to become a Patron, or just don’t want to. That’s fine – I appreciate that you even took the time to watch this video, and there are plenty of non-monetary ways to support Pug Hoof Gaming and help it to grow. You could share this Patreon campaign with your friends, or even share my videos on Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, etc. How about taking a few minutes to watch my videos and comment on them? These are things that are as valuable as financial support, if not more.

Most importantly, you won’t be missing on any of my videos if you decide to not be a Patron – My videos will remain free for all, so please don’t worry!

If you got this far and want to contribute, you can do so at my newly-launched Patreon Page!
