Bottles are used in The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past to store life-saving medicines and Fairies to keep Link in top-top shape. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get all four Bottles. With these glass containers, you should find the trials ahead much more trivial.

The above video should help you get all four glass bottles, but here are some more traditional instructions for those that prefer text and images.
Kakariko Village
The first bottle is located very early on. When you visit Kakariko Village for the first time, you’ll meet a merchant sitting on a rug. For 100 Rupees, an easy amount to get at this point in the game, he’ll sell you your first Bottle.

Also in Kakariko Village, you will see a very long building – This is the tavern. You can’t see it, but there’s a door on its North side. When you enter this door, you’ll find a chest containing your second of four The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past Bottles.

Under The Bridge
Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4
To the East of Link’s House is a light green bridge, under which a man is sleeping. Once you have the Flippers, if you enter the water in the Lake Hylia region, follow the river North and around, you’ll reach this bridge. Now swim underneath, talk to the man and you’ll be able to check another of the Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past Bottles off the list.
The Mysterious Desert Man
Step 1 Step 2 Step 3
Once you have the Titan’s Mitts, you can pick up the final Bottle. First, visit the Dark World version of the Swordsmith’s house. In this rundown house, there’ll be a strange purple chest. Walk into it and you’ll drag it around, then use the Magic Mirror to go back to the Light World, then the Flute to visit Location 7. Go West one screen and walk North to see a man next to a sign. Talk to him and he’ll open the chest for you if you agree to keep his identity a secret. Do so and you’ll earn the last of the bottles.
